The Rennes divan set from Deluxe Beds Classic Collection features a faux suede divan base and a traditional pocket sprung mattress. The single mattress is skilfully upholstered in a hard wearing damask cover and has a hand tufted finish for additional strength and durability. Hand tufting is a process of tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft. This secures the generous layers of white fibre fillings and pre-tensions the mattress, resulting in a firmer feel and ensures the fillings stay in place. The interior of the mattress features totally independent pocket springs, each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. It is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape. The mattress also features a hand stitched perimeter; a labour intensive process that sews the pocket springs to the mattress border. The side stitched process provides total edge to edge support and prevents the side panels from bowing out and enhances its life span. Supporting the Rennes mattress is a solid top faux suede divan base that is designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. It is offered with several storage options and in four base colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino.
