The hand tufting process is a series of tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured with a cotton tuft on each side. This procedure secures the generous layers of white fibre fillings and pre-tensions the mattress. The result is a firmer feel and ensures the fillings stay in place. The mattress interior features totally independent pocket springs, each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. It is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape.
