The Cotton Pocket 2000 has a traditional orthopaedic pocket spring interior and a contemporary and attractive faux suede divan base. The mattress is well filled at 27cm deep, skilfully manufactured and upholstered in a luxury cotton cover thats hand tufted for extra durability. The purpose of hand tufting is to pre-tension the mattress by inserting tapes through the mattress panels and held in place with a cotton tuft. This procedure secures the generous layers of white fibre fillings and holds them in place, reducing the chance of upholstery movement that causes mattresses to go lumpy. The interior is made up of totally independent pocket springs that are each housed in its own cloth sleeve. This ensures the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring system is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape.
