Designed by Deluxe Beds, the Latex Pocket 2000 single divan set combines a smart faux suede base, extra firm orthopaedic pocket springs and a layer of natural latex. The mattress is expertly tailored using an attractive and luxuriously soft to touch cover and for extra durability, it has a hand tufted finish. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the whole of the mattress ensuring the fillings stay in place and results in a firmer sleeping surface. The process is achieved by passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals and secured by a cotton tuft on each side. The layer of natural latex adapts flawlessly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you lie on your side or your back. Latex is taken from the sap of the Rubber tree and is hypo-allergenic, remarkably long lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. The interior benefits from totally independent pocket springs, each housed in its own cloth sleeve so any pressure on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it. With their piston-like motion, the pocket springs directly support each part of the sleepers body at the point of contact. They are not affected by varying weight and body shapes, thus allowing the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your individual body shape. Supporting the mattress is a platform style faux suede divan base that is designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. It is offered with a number of storage options and base colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino. You can also opt to have your divan base on standard castors or upgrade to contemporary silver glides. The Latex Pocket 2000 has more than 6 times the number of springs you get in a standard mattress, perfect for those who enjoy an extra firm orthopaedic support.
