The Memory Elite 1000 double mattress offers support and comfort with its combination of memory foam and totally independent pocket springs. The mattress is skilfully tailored in a soft and responsive knitted stretch fabric cover with a hand tufted finish for strength and durability. Hand tufting is carried out by a series of nylon tapes passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side by a cotton tuft. This process pre-tensions the mattress ensuring the fillings stay in place. Within the mattress fillings is a layer of visco elastic memory foam thats designed to be temperature sensitive and soften when it comes into contact with body heat. The memory foam moulds itself to your body shape, eliminating pressure points and creating better blood circulation, resulting in a more restful and comfortable sleep. The pocket springs are totally independent, each in its own cloth pocket so the load on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body. The result is a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. The Memory Elite mattress is designed to be one-sided and does not need to be turned over, but it does require to be rotated from head to toe regularly. Supporting the mattress is a platform style, solid top faux suede divan base. It is presented in four desirable colours and with a diverse range of storage combinations. There is even the choice to have standard castors or upgrade to contemporary silver glide feet.
