The double size Latex Pocket 1000 mattress is well upholstered in a soft to touch cover and for additional durability, it has a hand tufted finish. Its hand tufted finish is achieved by passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals and secured on each side by a cotton tuft. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the whole of the mattress ensuring the fillings stay in place and results in a firmer sleeping surface. The latex layer is a natural product taken from the sap of the Rubber tree and is hypoallergenic, extremely long lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. It adapts perfectly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you prefer to lie on your side or your back. The mattress has totally independent pocket springs, each in its own cloth pocket so the load on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it.
