The Latex Pocket 1000 single bed divan set unites a contemporary faux suede base with pressure sensitive pocket springs and a layer of natural latex. The Latex 1000 mattress is beautifully upholstered in a soft touch cover and for additional durability; it has a hand tufted finish. Its hand tufted finish is achieved by passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the whole of the mattress; ensures the fillings remain firmly in place and results in a firmer sleeping surface. The latex layer is a natural product taken from the sap of the Rubber tree. It is hypoallergenic, exceptionally long lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. It adapts perfectly to your body shape and helps to align your spinal column, whether you prefer to lie on your side or your back. The mattress has totally independent pocket springs, each in its own cloth compartment so the load on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it. They provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body. The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your individual body shape. Supporting the mattress is a solid top faux suede divan base that is designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. It is offered with a choice of storage options and base colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino. You can also select to have your divan base on standard castors or upgrade to contemporary silver glides.
