The Limoges Pocket 1500 divan set unites contemporary styling and traditional pocket springs and offers a firm and supportive sleeping surface. The mattress has hypo-allergenic layers of white fibre fillings, an attractive and durable damask cover and a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is a series of tapes passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft. This process pre-tensions the mattress for a firmer feel. The interior of the mattress is pocket spring, a system where springs are totally independent, each in its own cloth sleeve so the load on one spring is not affected by the one next to it. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring system is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape. A side stitched process is added to the outer rows of springs around the edge. It is a labour intensive process that sews the turns of the springs to the mattress border. The side stitching procedure provides total edge to edge support and prevents the side panels from bowing out.
