Deluxe Beds created the Latex Pocket 1000 divan set by combining a contemporary faux suede base with traditional pocket springs and a layer of natural latex. The king size Latex Pocket 1000 mattress is skilfully upholstered in a soft to touch cover and for added durability, it has a hand tufted finish. Its hand tufted finish is achieved by passing a series of tapes through the mattress panels at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the whole of the mattress ensuring the fillings remain firmly in place; resulting in a firmer sleeping surface. The latex layer is a natural product taken from the sap of the Rubber tree; it is hypo-allergenic, exceptionally long lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. It adapts perfectly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you prefer to lie on your side or your back. The mattress has pressure sensitive pocket springs, each in its own cloth compartment so the load on one spring doesnt affect the one next to it.
