Supplied by Deluxe Beds, the Nicole Traditional Pocket 2000 divan set unites a stylish and contemporary faux suede base and a pocket sprung mattress. At 27cm deep, the Nicole mattress is generously filled with hypo-allergenic white fibre fillings and features a durable damask cover with a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress by inserting nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. The hand tufting procedure ensures the layers of fillings are held in place and also results in a firmer sleeping surface. The interior of the mattress boasts totally independent pocket springs, each housed in its own cloth sleeve so the load on one spring is not affected by the one next to it. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring unit is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape. The border of the mattress boasts 2 rows of hand side stitching; a labour intensive process that sews the pocket springs to the perimeter of the mattress. The side stitched process provides total edge to edge support and prevents the border from bowing out and enhances the life span of the mattress. Supporting the Nicole mattress is a stylish faux suede divan base. It is offered in four desirable colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino. It is also available with a wide range of storage combinations and has the option of standard castors or contemporary silver glides.
