With a blend of hypo-allergenic white fillings and pressure sensitive pocket springs; the Limoges is a well specified mattress. For a more comfortable sleeping surface, the mattress has been skilfully tailored in a soft to the touch, luxury damask cover. The hand tufted finish pre-tensions the mattress by passing a series of tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. This process ensures the generous layers of upholstery remain securely in place and results in a firmer sleeping surface. The mattress boasts a pocket sprung interior. Each spring is encased within its own fabric compartment; allowing the springs to work independently of one another. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The springs are not affected by varying weights or body shapes, allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your individual body shape. A side stitched process is added to the outer rows of springs around the edge. This is a labour intensive process that sews the turns of the springs to the mattress border.
