The foundation of the mattress is its spring interior, an impressive two-tier pocket spring system (3000 in a king size) where a layer of mini pocket springs rest upon standard size pocket springs. Each spring is housed within its own individual cloth pocket. This ensures the load on one spring does not affect the one next to it; thus preventing roll together. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact.
