The mattress is substantially filled and expertly upholstered in a luxury damask fabric cover that is hand tufted for extra strength and durability. The hand tufting process pre-tensions the mattress and ensures the generous layers of fillings are held securely in place. Internally the mattress boasts pressure sensitive pocket springs, each encased within its own fabric compartment. This ensures the load on one spring does not affect the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact.
