From Deluxe Beds, the Memory Flex Orthopaedic single divan set is part of their Value Collection and combines a faux suede base and a robust open coil mattress with a layer memory foam. The mattress has a firm and supportive spring system and is covered in a soft touch fabric with a hand tufted finish for additional durability. Hand tufting is a process that pre-tensions the mattress by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. This procedure secures the layers of fillings and holds them in place, reducing the chance of upholstery movement that causes mattresses to go lumpy. Below the top cover is layer of hypo-allergenic memory foam thats designed to be temperature sensitive and soften when it comes into contact with body heat. The memory foam moulds itself to your body shape, eliminating pressure points and creating better blood circulation, resulting in a more restful and comfortable sleep. Its spring system is a 12.5 gauge open coil unit and the firmest wire used in mattress manufacturing. Its robust, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. The mattress is supported upon a platform style, solid top faux suede divan base that gives your mattress a slightly firmer feel. You can select from several storage options and four divan base colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino. You can also opt to have your base on standard castors or stylish silver glides.
