The Memory Flex double divan bed enjoys a combination of robust open coil springs and a 25mm layer of body-moulding memory foam. A soft and responsive knitted stretch fabric cover is used to upholster the mattress with a hand tufted finish for extra durability. The process of hand tufting is a series of nylon tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on both side with a cotton tuft. The memory foam layer is temperature sensitive, designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces and moulds itself to your body shape. This reduces the pressure points on your body, creating better blood circulation and resulting in less tossing and turning by evenly distributing your body weight. Its open coil spring system is robust, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. The Memory Flex mattress is designed to be one-sided and does not require to be flipped over, although it does need to be rotated from head to toe on a regular basis.
