The hand tufted mattress is expertly upholstered in a knitted stretch fabric cover that is extremely soft to touch and gives the mattress a luxurious feel. Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side by a cotton tuft. This ensures the fillings within the mattress stay in pace and reduces the chance of upholstery movement. The mattress has a generous layer of memory foam thats designed to be temperature sensitive and soften when it comes into contact with body heat. The memory foam moulds itself to your body shape, eliminating pressure points and creating better blood circulation, resulting in a more restful and comfortable sleep. Its spring unit is an open coil system thats robust, durable and made up of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress.
