These tapes are secured on each side with a cotton tuft which pre-tensions the mattress, resulting in a firmer feel. It also ensures the fillings remain in place. Its open coil spring system is strong, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. Completing the divan set is a platform style, solid top base. It is tailored in soft and durable faux suede and is offered in four desirable colours, natural, black, sand and cappuccino.
