Shire Double Luxury Chenille Reinforced Divan Base

Built with strength and style in mind, the Luxury reinforced double size base is manufactured in the UK by Shire Beds and combines a strong frame and a chic chenille cover. A standard platform top divan base has a construction that consists of a timber frame with wooden supports running across its width and a top board attached to the strapping. To reinforce a base that will withstand additional wear and tear, extra wooden slats are added the frame as well as a double thick top board to provide a strong and sturdy support. The luxury double base provides a solid foundation for your mattress and is available with a variety of storage options from a wide end drawer to 4 large side drawers. It comes with headboard fixing on both ends, all you have to do is pierce the fabric at the end you wish to fit a headboard and screw in the bolts that come supplied. To complement the Luxury Chenille base, there is a complete range of double mattresses and a selection of matching headboards to choose from.
