Designed for strength and durability, the Shire small double reinforced base features a sturdy framework that's built to last and is upholstered in a quality faux suede cover. Crafted to withstand additional wear and tear, a reinforced base has extra strapping added to the frame as well as a double thick top surface, providing a strong support. Its solid top, platform style provides a firm foundation for your mattress and offers a choice of 5", 8", 10" and 12" depths. The base rests upon standard castors. Headboard fixings can be located at both ends of the base; simply pierce the fabric at the end you wish to fit a headboard using the bolts supplied with the bed.
