Built with durability and style in mind, the king size Luxury reinforced base is manufactured in the UK by Shire Beds and combines a sturdy frame and a chic chenille cover. The construction of a standard platform top divan base consists of a timber framework with wooden supports running across its width and a top board attached to the strapping. To reinforce a base that will withstand additional wear and tear, extra wooden slats are added the frame as well as a double thick top board to provide a strong and sturdy support. The luxury king size base provides a solid foundation for your mattress and is available with a variety of storage options from a wide end drawer to 4 large side drawers. It comes with headboard fixing on both ends, all you have to do is pierce the fabric at the end you wish to fit a headboard and screw in the bolts that come supplied. To complement the Luxury Chenille base, there is a complete range of 5ft mattresses and the option of 3 matching headboards to choose from.
