The Savoy Latex mattress benefits from a durable open coil spring system, a layer of natural latex and a hand tufted knitted stretch fabric cover that's soft to touch. Hand tufting is a process that is achieved by passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. This procedure ensures that the fillings are held in place securely, reduce the chance of upholstery movement and creates a firmer sleeping surface. Latex is a natural product taken from the sap of the Rubber tree and is hypoallergenic, extremely long lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan.
