From Deluxe Beds Value Collection, the Memory Flex Orthopaedic 90cm x 200cm European single mattress is designed to fit Ikea bed frames. This mattress combines a strong open coil spring unit with a 25mm layer of body moulding memory foam to produce a firm, supportive sleep surface. It has been skilfully tailored in an attractive soft touch fabric cover with a hand tufted finish for added durability. The hand tufted finish involves a series of tapes being passed through the mattress panels at regular intervals and securing them with a cotton tuft on each side. The benefit being; it pre-tensions the mattress ensuring the fillings remain securely in place; resulting in a firmer sleeping surface. On top of the mattress fillings is a 25mm layer of hypo-allergenic memory foam. This is designed to be temperature sensitive and soften when it comes into contact with your body heat. The memory foam moulds itself to your body profile, eliminating pressure points and creating better blood circulation, resulting in a more restful and comfortable sleep. The spring system has a 12.5 gauge open coil unit, the firmest wire used in mattress manufacturing. Its tough, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The mattress border is reinforced by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the mattress perimeter. This allows you to sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off.
