Manufactured by Deluxe Beds, the Savoy Latex 90cm x 200cm European single mattress is designed to fit an Ikea sized bed frame. The mattress offers a medium support and features a combination of open coil springs, knitted stretch fabric cover and a layer of natural latex. It has been beautifully tailored with a soft to touch knitted stretch fabric cover that provides a luxurious feel. The hand tufted finish is achieved by passing a series of nylon tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. This process ensures the fillings remain securely in place; reducing any upholstery movement. The layer of natural latex adapts perfectly to your body shape; helping to align your spinal column, whether you lie on your side or your back. The latex has hypoallergenic properties, is extremely long lasting and will retain its comfort levels throughout its lifespan. The foundation of the Savoy Latex mattress is its spring system; a robust open coil spring unit thats made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs. These are connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The mattress border is reinforced by a thick, rod-edge wire that helps to prevent border breakdown and allows you the full width of the sleeping surface. Although the mattress is one-sided and does not need to be flipped over, we recommended you rotate the mattress from head to toe regularly to prolong its life.
