The Luxury Memory Pocket 3000 set is highly specified and enjoys a blend of smart faux sued base, 25mm layer of memory foam and a two-tier pocket spring system. The mattress is extremely deep at 31cm and also includes hypo-allergenic fillings, a soft and responsive cover and a hand tufted finish for extra durability. Hand tufting is a process that inserts tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and secures them on both sides with a cotton tuft. The benefit of this procedure is it pre-tensions the mattress and holds the generous layers of fillings in place and reduces the chance of upholstery movement. The 25mm layer of visco elastic memory foam is designed to be temperature sensitive and softens when it comes into contact with body heat. It moulds itself to your body shape, eliminating pressure points and creating better blood circulation, resulting in a more restful and comfortable sleep. The mattress interior features a two-tier pocket spring system (3000 in a king size) where a mini layer of pocket springs rest upon standard size pocket springs. Each of the springs are located in its own cloth sleeve so the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it ensuring no roll together. With their piston-like motion, the pocket springs directly support each part of the sleepers body at the point of contact. They are not affected by varying weight and body shapes, thus allowing the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body shape. The mattress rests upon a platform style, solid top faux suede divan base that is specifically designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. It is offered with a range of storage options and four base colours, natural, black, sand or cappuccino. You can also select to have your divan base on standard castors or upgrade to stylish silver glides.
