The Duet Deluxe 6ft mattress is taken from Dura Beds easy living collection and enjoys a blend of luxurious layers of fillings and a twin-tiered, double-decker spring unit to provide twice the support and twice the comfort. Upholstered in a durable damask fabric, the mattress benefits from a high loft, micro quilted finish; a process that sews the outer damask cover to the surface layers of fillings ensuring they are held firmly in place. Its generous fillings are hypo-allergenic and have a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance, resulting in an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. Two layers of robust open coil springs make up its double-decker interior and consist of rows of hourglass shaped springs that are connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To provide edge to edge support across its width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached around the perimeter of the spring unit. This prevents border breakdown and ensures the mattress retains its shape throughout its lifespan. Although the mattress is one-sided, it is recommended that you rotate it regularly from head to toe. This will take care of and enhance its lifespan. Flag stitched handles are fitted to the border to assist you when turning the mattress.
