The tufts secure the outer cover to the surface fillings, this process dramatically reduces the risk of upholstery movement. Beneath the cover is a 20mm memory foam layer. This temperature sensitive material responds to your individual shape, gently cushioning your body`s contours to provide a more relaxing, restful sleeping profile. At the mattress core is a traditional open coil spring system. The spring unit is made up of rows of hour glass shaped springs that are linked into one single unit by fitting a spiral wire at the top and bottom. A thick rod-edge wire is then fixed around the perimeter of the spring unit. This offers edge to edge comfort across the full width of the sleeping surface; prevents border breakdown and ensures the mattress retains its shape. This non turn mattress is designed with a single sleeping side, for that reason there is no need flip it.
