The Duet Deluxe double mattress from Dura Beds features several layers of luxurious fillings and thanks to its double-decker twin spring system you can be assured of twice the comfort and twice the support. Upholstered in a quality damask fabric, the mattress benefits from a high loft, micro quilted finish; a process that sews the outer damask cover to the surface layers of fillings ensuring they are held firmly in place. Its generous fillings are hypo-allergenic and have a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance, resulting in an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. Its double-decker interior consists of two layers of robust open coil springs, one on top of the other and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs that are connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To provide edge to edge support across its width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached around the perimeter of the spring unit. This prevents border breakdown and ensures the mattress retains its shape throughout its lifespan. The mattress is one-sided but still requires to be rotated from head to toe regularly. This will take care of and enhance the lifespan of the mattress. To assist you with turning, flag stitched handles are fitted to the border.
