The Latex Supreme 6ft mattress is manufactured in the UK by Dura Beds and blends an open coil spring system, a layer of natural Latex and is upholstered in a deep sculptured soft fabric cover. The mattress has a micro quilted finish, a process that attaches its soft to touch knitted stretch fabric cover to the surface layers of fillings and ensures they are held securely in place. The latex layer is a natural product taken from the Rubber tree. It is hypoallergenic, long lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. It is highly responsive and adapts perfectly to the shape of your body contours and helps to align your spinal column correctly, whether you lie on your side or your back. The mattress features a robust and durable 13.5 gauge open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring and offers a medium and comfortable support. It is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress.
