A soft knitted stretch fabric covers both sides of the mattress, whilst the border incorporates a breathable airflow venting system that allows better heat dispersion through the mattress. Its support is provided by a robust and durable open coil interior that is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. A thick rod-edge wire is attached to the mattress border to provide additional strength and allow you to sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. To enhance the lifespan of the mattress and even out its wear and tear, it is recommended to rotate it from head to toe and flip it over regularly. To assist you with turning, flag stitched handles are fitted to the border.
