Deluxe Beds have combined traditional pocket springs with a natural layer of latex and a soft to touch cover to create the Latex Pocket 1000 single mattress. It has a hand tufted finish, a process that inserts a series of tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and secures them on each side with a cotton tuft. The hand tufting process pre-tensions the whole of the mattress ensuring the fillings stay securely in place; the result is a firmer sleeping surface. The layer of natural latex will adapt perfectly to your body shape; helping to align your spinal column whether you lie on your side or your back. Latex is hypo-allergenic, exceptionally long lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. The mattress has pressure sensitive pocket springs, each encased within its own cloth pocket, ensuring the load on one spring doesnt affect the one neighbouring it. These provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body. The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape.
