The Latex Pocket 3000 mattress is supplied by Deluxe Beds and blends pocket springs, generous fillings and a layer of natural latex. It is an extremely deep mattress and is skilfully upholstered in a soft to touch cover with a hand tufted finish for additional durability. Hand tufting involves tapes being completely passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the mattress and ensures the many layers of fillings are secured and stay in place. Latex is a natural product, taken from the sap of the Rubber Tree and is hypoallergenic, extremely long lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. The layer of natural latex adapts perfectly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you lie on your side or your back. The mattress has a two-tier pocket spring interior (3000 in a king size) where a layer of mini pocket springs rest upon standard size pocket springs. Each spring is placed in its own individual cloth pocket so the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it ensuring no roll together. With their piston-like motion, the pocket springs directly support each part of the sleepers body at the point of contact.
