The mattress boasts generous layers of hypo-allergenic fillings and is well upholstered in a plush damask cover with a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress by inserting nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and fastening them on both sides with a cotton tuft. The hand tufting procedure ensures the layers of fillings are held firmly in place; resulting in a firmer sleeping surface. The interior of the mattress boasts pressure sensitive pocket springs, each housed within its own cloth compartment; allowing the springs to work independently of each other. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring unit is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape.
