With a traditional hand tufted finish, the soft woollen tufts ensure the mattress fillings are held firmly and securely in place, minimising the risk of upholstery movement. Its firm support consists of a robust open coil spring system, made up of rows of hourglass springs connected into one unit by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To strengthen the perimeter of the interior, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the spring system. This prevents border breakdown and allows you the full width of the mattress. To take care of and enhance its lifespan, we recommend that you rotate and flip the mattress over on a regular basis. Flag stitched handles are fitted to the border to assist you with turning.
