Normal divan bed bases are constructed using a timber framework that has wooden straps running across its width with a top board attached to it to provide a flat surface. Reinforced bases are similarly built, but have additional wooden straps and a double thick top board that combine to create a sturdier and much stronger foundation. You can create a divan base to suit your needs and decor, with a choice base types, drawer storage, colours and the option of standard castors or stylish silver glide feet.
