The Solar 5ft base on legs is manufactured by Highgrove Beds in the UK and features a platform style, hard top divan that is upholstered in an attractive natural faux suede cover. Its platform top divan base will provide a supportive and solid foundation for your existing mattress, or you could treat yourself to a new 5ft mattress from our extensive range. The Solar base has a non-slip padded top cover that has the option of 15cm (6") or 20cm (8") depths and offers you a choice of three leg sizes and styles. You can have standard 18cm (7") twin-wheeled plastic legs. traditional 20cm (8") wooden legs or low contemporary chrome legs. Select your preferred leg type and height from the options bar above before adding to basket. All three legs can be viewed in the images above. You can upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board; resulting in a stronger and more durable divan base. The Solar base is delivered in two halves that are connected using robust joining bars at the side and comes with two bolts to secure a king size headboard, if required.
