Manufactured by Highgrove Beds, the king size Solar base on legs is a solid top, platform style divan that's upholstered in a contemporary and fashionable cappuccino faux suede cover. The Solar king size base has a padded, non-slip top cover and its platform top provides a supportive and solid foundation for your existing or new king size mattress. The cappuccino faux suede base is available with the option of a 15cm (6") or 20cm (8") depth and comes with a choice of three different leg designs and heights. There's a choice of standard black plastic legs on twin-wheeled castors at 18cm (7"), traditional wooden legs at 20cm (8") or chic chrome legs at 11.5cm (4.5"). You can decide the overall height of base you require by selecting the preferred leg type and size from the options bar above before adding to the basket. There is also the option to upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board; resulting in a stronger and more durable divan base. For ease of delivery, the Solar base is delivered in two halves that are connected using the linking bars located at the side and comes with two bolts to secure a king size headboard, if required.
