The 4ft small double Solar base on legs is a platform style, hard top divan from Highgrove Beds that's upholstered in a modern and attractive cappuccino faux suede cover. The Solar base has a padded, non-slip top cover and its platform top provides a supportive and solid foundation for your existing or new small double mattress. You can upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board; resulting in a stronger and more durable divan base. The cappuccino faux suede base on its own is available in depths of 15cm (6") and 20cm (8") and comes with a choice of three different leg designs and heights. There's 18cm (7") black plastic legs on twin-wheeled castors, traditional wooden legs at 20cm (8") or chic chrome legs at 11.5cm (4.5"). You can decide the overall height of base you require by selecting the preferred leg type and size from the options bar before adding to the basket. For ease of delivery, the Solar base is delivered in two halves that are connected using the linking bars located at the side and comes with two bolts to secure a 4ft headboard, if required.
