The double size Solar base on legs is manufactured by Highgrove Beds and features a hard top, platform style divan and a durable and chic sand faux suede fabric. Its platform top divan provides a supportive and solid foundation for an existing or new double mattress and benefits from a padded, non-slip top cover. The base has an option of 15cm (6") or 20cm (8") depths and a choice of 18cm (7") twin-wheeled plastic legs, 20cm (8") wooden legs or 11.5cm (4.5") chrome legs. There's the option to upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board. This results in a stronger and more durable divan base.
