Manufactured by Highgrove Beds in the UK, the Solar 2ft 6 base on legs has a platform style, hard top, providing your mattress with a solid and supportive foundation. The Solar base has a chic and contemporary natural faux suede border, a padded non-slip top cover and comes with a choice of three leg styles and sizes. You can upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board; resulting in a stronger and more durable divan base. The base itself is is available in depths of 15cm (6") or 20cm (8") and the legs come in a choice of 18cm (7") twin-wheeled plastic legs, 11.5cm (4.5") chrome legs or 20cm (8") wooden legs. This allows you to choose from three different height bases; just select your preferred leg type from the options bar above before adding to basket. You can pair the Solar single divan base on legs with any of our small single mattresses and headboards to complete the set.
