Designed with practicality and style in mind, the Solar base from Highgrove Beds is upholstered in a durable cappuccino faux suede fabric and comes with a spacious storage drawer at the foot end. Divan bases with side drawers require additional space on either side to open them, so if floor space is limited, an end drawer base could be the storage divan to suit your needs. It's priced as a platform top divan, but you can upgrade to a sprung base for a softer support or a reinforced divan that's designed to withstand extra weight. To cater for different bedroom settings, there is a choice of storage options available. You also have the option of standard castors or silver glide feet. Divan bases provide a solid foundation for your mattress and for ease of delivery they come in two halves that are held together with durable linking bars on each side. To complement the divan, matching headboards are available in strutted or floor standing styles. The floor standing model is much sturdier and wont rock back and forth unexpectedly.
