The king size Solar Memory Coolmax mattress has a medium support spring system and features a 75mm layer of body-moulding memory foam. Perspiration is one of the bodys natural mechanisms and Coolmax is designed to draw body moisture, helping you stay dry and comfortable. Coolmax is an innovative fabric that dissipates perspiration away from the body, and through the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly. Its specially engineered fibres produce fabrics that are soft to touch, breathable and helps to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The memory foam layer is temperature sensitive, designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces and moulds itself to the sleepers body shape. This reduces the pressure points on your body, creating better blood circulation and resulting in less tossing and turning by evenly distributing your body weight. The foundation of the mattress is its spring interior, an open coil spring system, also known as a Bonnell spring. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress.
