The Backcare mattress is well tailored and features a micro quilted finish, a process that sews the outer damask cover to the surface layers of fillings, ensuring they are held firmly in place. At the core of the mattress is a robust open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire. To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior. This wire allows you the use of the full width of the mattress and prevents border breakdown. Supporting the mattress is our universal Solar platform top divan base. It is covered in soft and durable faux suede and is available in a choice of modern colours. The base is presented with several storage combinations and there is even the option of having standard castors or upgrading to contemporary silver glides.
