Its open coil spring system is made up of rows of hour glass shaped coil springs that are connected at the top and the bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To allow you full use of the width of the mattress, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring unit. This adds support to the edge and prevents border breakdown. The Solar divan base is a platform style, solid top that is designed to give your mattress a slightly firmer feel. It is upholstered in durable faux suede and is offered in a choice of modern colours. You can select a non drawer base or a 2 drawer base, standard castors or stylish silver glides.
