The foundation of the mattress is made up of totally independent pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth pocket so the load on one spring doesnt affect any of the neighbouring springs. This allows the pocket springs to contour perfectly to your body shape and provide piston-like support to each part of the body. They are not affected by varying weights and body shapes, resulting in a system that supports directly at the point of contact. An additional feature is a high density foam encapsulated border around the spring unit that prevents its collapse and allows you to sleep right up to the edge, without the sensation of rolling off.
