The micro quilting process sews the outer fabric to the surface fillings; this produces a smooth flatter finish and helps to prevent mattress upholstery movement. Natural latex is a premium quality material taken from the sap of the rubber tree. It is hypo-allergenic, long-lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. Latex has natural elasticity that adapts perfectly to your body shape to offer independent support; it also recovers its shape immediately when pressure is removed. The mattress features a traditional open coil spring system. This is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs that are assembled into one single unit using a spiral wire at the top and bottom. A thick rod-edge wire is then fitted around the top and bottom of the spring unit. This provides edge to edge comfort across the entire sleeping surface and ensures the mattress retains its shape.
