The Cotton Pocket 3000 is a high-spec 4ft mattress from Deluxe Beds and features a two-tier pocket spring system, hypo-allergenic fillings and a luxury cotton cover. Its well filled at 29cm deep and boasts several layers of white fibre fillings and for additional durability; it has a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is a series of tapes inserted through the mattress panels at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft. The result is, it pre-tensions the mattress and secures the layers of fillings stay in place, reducing the chance of upholstery movement that can cause a mattresses to go lumpy. The foundation of the mattress is made up of a two-tier pocket spring system where a layer of mini-pocket springs are supported by a standard layer of pocket springs. The springs are totally independent with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve, ensuring the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring system is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your body shape.
