The Renaissance Traditional Pocket 3000 mattress was designed by Deluxe Beds to provide additional lumber support and unrivalled comfort. The Renaissance Pocket 3000 mattress is generously filled and features an innovative two-tier pocket spring system, a knitted stretch fabric cover and a hand tufted finish. The hand tufting process pre-tensions the mattress by inserting nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them with a cotton tuft on both sides. The benefit of the hand tufting process is it will ensure the layers of fillings are held securely in place; thus creating a firmer sleeping surface. The foundation of the mattress is its two-tier pocket sprung interior (3000 in a king size) where a layer of mini pocket springs rest upon standard size pocket springs. Each pocket spring is housed within its own individual fabric compartment; so the load on one spring isnt affected by the one next to it ensuring no roll together. The pocket springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleepers body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact. The spring system is not affected by varying weights and body shapes allowing the pocket spring interior to contour perfectly to your unique body shape. An additional feature is its 2 rows of traditional hand side stitching; a labour intensive process that sews the turns on the pocket springs to the border of the mattress. The side stitching process provides total edge to edge support and prevents the side panels from collapsing. It also enhances the life span of the mattress.
