To offer enhanced strength and support to the finished unit, a heavy gauge outer rod-edge wire is fitted around the top and bottom of the perimeter springs. This additional edge support allows you the use of the full width and lets you sleep comfortably right up to the edge of the mattress without the sensation of rolling off.
