The Solar single divan base is manufactured by Highgrove Beds in the UK and boasts an attractive and contemporary faux suede cover and a low price that's hard to beat. It is skilfully upholstered in a warm cappuccino coloured faux suede fabric and is also available in a choice of sand, black and natural faux suede covers too. The base is priced as a platform top divan, but you can upgrade to a reinforced divan or a sprung edge base for a softer support. There's also the option of storage drawers and a choice of feet. To complement the divan, matching headboards are available in strutted or floor standing styles. The floor standing model is much sturdier and wont rock back and forth unexpectedly. It comes with headboard fixing on both ends, all you have to do is pierce the fabric at the end you wish to fit a headboard and screw in the bolts that come supplied.
