Offering a firm, yet comfortable support, the Rubens mattress consists of body-responsive pocket springs, body-moulding memory foam and a micro quilted Coolmax cover. Coolmax is an innovative fabric that dissipates perspiration away from the body and through the fabric where it can evaporate quickly, resulting in cooler and fresher night's sleep. The high-tech memory foam layer is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces, moulding itself to the sleepers body shape. At the core of the mattress is a pocket spring interior, a traditional sleep system made up of totally independent springs housed within their own flexible cloth sleeve. This allows each spring to move freely, so the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. To allow you the full use of the mattress width and ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs, a flat rod-edge wire is fitted to the perimeter rows of springs. Caring for the mattress is easy, as it's designed to be one-sided and does not need to be flipped over. Flag stitched handles are fitted to assist you when rotating it from head to toe.
